Study Guides
This section of my portfolio contains resources for the RVE exam. These resources may include notes from class or definitions from lectures or the textbook.
RVE stands for Reading for Virginia Educators. This is a test that has 100 multiple choice questions on reading questions for elementary and special education teachers. The test also contains three constructed-response questions. The content questions cover categories like Assessment and Diagnostic Teaching, Oral Language and Oral Communication, Reading Development, and Writing and Research. The test is primarily for entry-level elementary and special education teachers who have completed training in a program to prepare them to teach in either of those areas. The RVE determines if the teacher will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to teach reading.

Vocabulary Words
In this section, I put together a list of the vocabulary words from the textbook. These words will help me prepare for the RVE and having them in one location will be beneficial to my studying. The words that these listed are composed of are found in Words their Way.
